Small details. Real differences.
Compare normal-sized paragraphs, small labels, symbols, fine lines, and an image. Filters affect both image and text; spacing and thickness change only text. Original stays unadjusted.

Where do I find these numbers?
SPH · CYL · Axis · ADDOS → Left eye
SPH · CYL · Axis · ADD
Look for these column headings on your current eyeglass prescription. Copy the plus or minus sign exactly. If a field is not listed or you are unsure, leave it blank or ask your eye-care professional.
SPH (sphere): the main lens power, in diopters. CYL (cylinder): the astigmatism lens power. Axis: its orientation, in degrees from 0 to 180. ADD: additional near-vision lens power.
Prism: copy the amount and base direction as written, if present. PD: pupil distance in millimeters. Only enter separate right and left values if your prescription lists them; do not put a single combined PD in both fields or guess how to split it. Date: use YYYY-MM-DD.
Local only. No transmission, advertising, analytics, or AI training. Saved values are encrypted in this browser; the encryption key is kept here too. This is not a password lock—someone with access to this browser can reveal the profile. Clearing browser data may erase it; moving the file or using another browser may make it unavailable.
Prescription entry is not medical vision correction and does not replace your glasses, eye examination, or eye-care professional.
Optional clarity starting points
No prescription is needed. Compare three display preferences before choosing one. Stronger does not necessarily mean more comfortable.
ClearView suggests display settings to try. These are not medical vision correction and do not replace prescription glasses or professional eye care.
Every sample uses the same words at a normal 14 px size. Only display styling differs. Choose Try This Profile to enable its settings in the main preview; no option is applied automatically.
Trying a profile enables Focus, Character Spacing, and Letter Thickness. Other controls—including Edge Definition, Text Size, Line Spacing, Personal View, and Smart Balance—keep your current settings. Smart Balance, if on, still adds its usual weight. These comparison samples always remain 14 px.
All settings stay manually adjustable. Your named presets are not overwritten. Use Save as new if you want to keep an adjusted starting point.
